About Me

My name is Andy Schneider. I am a Systems Engineer for Avanade in Seattle, WA.  I used to be a consultant but transferred to internal IT when my wife and I found out we were going to have a baby, who is now almost 2 years old.

For the past 15 years or so I have been involed with Young Life Open Door, an organization that works with high school kids with disabilities. Recently I changed roles from being a volunteer leader to being on the Committee.

My wife, Raissa, also has a blog that she is starting up where she talks about what its like to be wife, a mom, and have a disability.

The opinions expressed herein are my own personal opinions and do not necessarily represent my employer’s view in any way.

Andy – thanks for the useful PS info. One question, maybe you’ve already answered this – how are you ‘colorizing’ your .code for display on the blog? I’d like to do similar for posting on an intranet+wiki.

    Thanks, Garth
